Right Skills Now CNC Fast-Track Training Program with Paid Internship
Lorain County Community College’s Right Skills Now program is focused on providing the knowledge and skills necessary for employment as a CNC mill or lathe operator. The training program is designed for students to obtain high-quality manufacturing jobs. There are two nationally recognized credentials embedded into the program: National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) and National Institute of Metal Working Skills (NIMS).
The technical training program is blended with credit and non-credit coursework that will be delivered in ten weeks, followed by an 8-week paid internship with a local industry partner. Eligibility requirements apply.
Classes are taught by LCCC faculty in partnership with the Lorain County JVS. LCCC’s coursework combines lecture and hands-on application.
